The Job

WarnerMedia seeks a Technical Manager for Media Supply Chain Department.

The Daily
• Lead a team of highly motivated engineers to implement solutions and deliver production quality applications that are highly supportable and maintainable
• Partner with internal and external teams to understand business and technical requirements to ensure your team is delivering value
• Participate in recruiting, hiring, and onboarding on engineering talent
• Facilitate continuous learning and improvement on your team
• Document technical solutions and articulate these solutions to both a business and technical audience

The Essentials
• 8 years of experience in software engineering
• 2 years of experience mentoring and coaching a team
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent technical experience
• Expertise in designing and implementing systems on AWS or other cloud platforms using ECS, Lambda, and SNS/SQS
• Expertise in implementing microservices, RESTful APIs, and event driven architectures
• Hands-on experience with a UI framework such as Angular or React.js

Preferred Skills
• Media background with encoding engines a plus
• Experience using Jenkins
• Experience monitoring and alerting applications using ELK, CloudWatch, and/or AppDynamics
