The Job

The Senior Manager, Data Integrations and Governance role will support the overall HBOMax Data and Artificial Intelligence (DAI) team across multiple areas on all facets of the organization from source data to target analytics. This would include data architecture, governance and technical lineage and understanding of core WarnerMedia direct to consumer analytics functions across a high level of topics: Technical data governance, Business side data management, visualization, Ingestion Process Management for analytic requests, defining technical lineage and gaps with respect to data accuracy and governance.

The Daily
• Engage and drive the maturity of data governance as it relates to stewardship of architectural best practice and privacy by design
• Develop integrations framework with our data quality and data lineage campaigns
• Define technical lineage and architecture in collaboration with HBO Max Data Engineering
• Define, manage and govern SDK attribution governance for full DAI bi-directional and 360 degree alignment
• Define, manage and govern key data elements with respect to data lineage
• Drive conceptual to conformance data model across multiple data domains
• Assist in Integrating key partner tools like data quality, data visibility and data cataloging
• Collaborate with teams to generate a full marketplace of data complete with source data schemas
• Drive adoption of our global data stack with respect to regional dependencies and outputs
• Define how our key products are hydrated and what dependencies are identified
• Define program roadmaps for architecture and integration as it pertains to data governance
• Lead full awareness of the upstream and downstream technical dependencies
• Automate data source understanding based on domain to engage on data sharing best practices
• Align with engineering teams on best practice for advancement of empowerment/enablement
• Continue to work with Governance, Operations and Strategy peers to drive full literacy and knowledge of our data ecosystem
• Evolve and mature our access permissions work with our full stack architecture as defined by the Governance arm to integrate best practice
• Manage the portfolio of roadmap objectives along with our Data Portfolio Management function using various project management methodologies
• Ensure partner effectiveness with alignment from our Operations lead
• Adopt best practices for visualization as it relates to semantic level and PDT adoption (marketplace concept)
• Integrate with our sister organizations to include Max analytics as a data source and as an advanced user of WM data for reports and advanced analysis.
• Understanding the full source data population to understand the location of key data tables and analytic output opportunities.
• Establishing a deep understanding of the data lake and its source data tables in order to provide stakeholders a thorough understanding of the data gaps or anomalies.
• Develop acumen around ROI on key data elements to ensure critical data latency is managed for key end points
• Advance knowledge management across both data and business topics in alignment with our Data Operations and Strategy lead
• Mature our self service empowerment through architectural best practices

• 7+ years relevant experience in data architecture, governance, consumer research, market and/or category analysis is required. Media experience is strongly preferred.
• Expertise in market research methods and trends based work, including a demonstrated ability to translate information and data into a compelling story with actionable insights and recommendations that impact business decisions.
• Strong knowledge of consumer insights across a broad array of methodologies with demonstrated ability to translate research findings, information and data into actionable insights and recommendations.
• Strong understanding of categories, brands and portfolios.
• Bachelor's Degree required; advanced degree/MBA a plus.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
• Fluent in SQL, Database, AWS Cloud Environments, Snowflake, Looker, and other data related tool sets
• Strategic thinking including capabilities to assess current situation, draw conclusions and envision future business opportunities.
• Strong business partner that can influence cross functional teams and management. Motivated by success of their brands.
• Ability to work autonomously and prioritize multiple projects across multiple brand teams.
• Occasional travel to the other offices as required (Burbank, Seattle, Atlanta, etc).
