The Job

This is an opportunity to be part of a marketing team from the ground-up and shape the marketing team of the future. The Social Coordinator will contribute to breakthrough strategies across all social platforms, support the daily execution across organic & paid programs, and play a key role in launching social content.

These social programs ladder-up to overarching campaign strategies, delivering a heavy digital-first lens across campaigns that drive conversation and buzz, informed by constant insights and performance insights to iterate throughout. They will push the boundaries of social media innovation, delivering best-in-class consumer experiences, and report into
the Social Manager of Max Originals.

The Daily
• Support our social campaigns alongside the Social Manager and Associate Manager for premium Max Originals series across all social platforms/partners, including the day-to-day execution.
• Implement programs end-to-end including contributing to strategies, facilitating content development and approvals across both organic and paid social/digital campaigns.
• Partner with our social agencies, creative, media and marketing operations teams to deliver a high-volume of social assets to publish across all social platforms. Manage asset & spec deliveries, detailed timelines, agency deliveries, QC, and publishing tools.
• Support execution of social content across the board - gathering assets needed, platform set-up/specifics, partner follow-ups, sharing final links/post files and maintaining detailed workbacks to meet deadlines
• Key partner in all paid social campaigns, including working with social platforms, asset deliveries and managing deliveries with agencies & internal teams.
• Support agency onboarding and day-to-day communication to manage detailed campaign workbacks, to ensure key campaign milestones are met.
• Contributor to a team culture that breaks the mold, fueled by innovation & creativity in a fast-paced environment, with positive & transparent collaboration.

The Essentials
• 2+ years social marketing experience, preferably in the entertainment industry
• Experience with the latest social platform best practices and how to maximize engagement (Instagram, IGTV, Twitter, Facebook, Snap, TikTok, YouTube, Reddit and other emerging platforms).
• Finger on the pulse with the latest trends, competitive entertainment social campaigns and pop-culture.
• A sincere love for television, movies and storytelling
• Ability to execute tactically based on strategic decisions
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Organization and attention to detail are musts.
• Positive team collaboration and a can-do attitude.
• Adaptable to change within a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of the current dynamic entertainment landscape, competitive creative campaigns and consumer trends.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field
