The Job

Based in Mexico City, the SEO Manager will be a search engine optimization expert who can collaborate and help grow the organic performance of the HBO Max LATAM website. They will have extensive knowledge on the technical and content aspects of SEO. He or she will work closely with the Senior Web Marketing Manager to establish the SEO roadmap and identify optimization opportunities based on SEO best practices. The right candidate will be analytical, self-starter and a great communicator and will work closely with multiple local and international team members in order to execute the overall SEO strategy.

The Daily
• Establish quarterly and yearly organic growth goals
• Develop the web SEO strategy and roadmap
• Identify optimization opportunities for new and existing landing pages
• Identify new content opportunities based on search landscape
• Understand keyword search and mapping
• Identify technical opportunities for the web to improve organic search
• Create and own monthly performance reports
• Execute monthly site health checks
• Develop meta data for landing pages
• Provide keywords for landing page copy
• Develop and maintain web's sitemap
• SCHEMA implementation
• Stay on top of industry trends, search engine algorithm updates & competitive landscape

The Essentials
• Bachelor's degree and/or relevant experience
• 5+ years SEO experience
• Analytical orientation. Excellent at quantitative and qualitative analysis
• Familiarity with industry tools and resources including Google Analytics, Google Search Console, BrightEdge, Screaming Frog, DeepCrawl, Ahrefs, SEM Rush, Pingdom and/or Solarwinds
• CMS experience. Drupal experience is a plus, but not required
• Strong technical SEO background
• Experience with keyword search, ranking and analytical abilities
• A strong passion for problem solving and innovation
• Attention to detail with strong project management capabilities
• Experience working in a highly fast-paced environment, being accountable and learning from mistakes
• Fully bilingual in English and Spanish required (written & verbal)
• Basic portuguese (written)
