The Job

WarnerMedia is seeking a Senior Project Manager for our flagship HBO Max Product. You will primarily lead projects within the Content and Data Insights domains, while also likely supporting other broad-based initiatives. This position will support multiple, cross functional global teams within HBO Max and across WarnerMedia. The projects will require a strong focus on planning, execution and executive reporting.

The Daily
• Partner with in-market leadership teams to identify key goals and deliverables for the launch of HBO Max product and other related efforts.
• Set up a governance framework that will allow for teams to effectively communicate cross functionally.
• Identify cross team dependencies and communicate them quickly to senior management.
• Stakeholder Management: communicate effectively with the leadership team and manage expectations between global and in-market leaders.
• Communication Management: ensure communications channels are set up across the organization that will allow for the timely delivery of decisions / updates to the teams.
• Risk Management: Effectively manage portfolio risks by identifying / prioritizing risks prior to launch and developing mitigation plan to address the risks.
• Build out end to end plans for the launch of the product, identifying key milestones to track and report.
• Support leadership in building out update decks for steering committees and other governance meetings such as launch readiness review meetings.
• Support all traditional project management functions.
• Ensure that projects are delivered on time and any escalations are reported out in a timely manner.
• Aid with the planning in the leadup to launches, running the workstream on launch day and tracking post launch items, which need to be seen to a conclusion or handed to Business-as-Usual functions.
• Represent the HBO Max Global team in market.

The Essentials
• 7-10 years of experience in program / project management, managing high visibility large scale complex programs.
• PMP certification highly preferred; MBA preferred.
• Ability to work independently with minimal directions.
• Problem solving skills, nimble mindset to get to the solution rapidly with minimal disruption.
• Experience working with executive teams.
• Ability to deal with a high-level of ambiguity and to pivot plans as needed.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management.
• Ability to work collaboratively with various teams and adept in conflict resolution.
• Highly motivated towards meeting goals and ability to motivate / influence teams to focus on delivery.
• Media industry experience preferred but not required.
• Experience working with strategy teams or functions would be beneficial.
