About HBO Max

HBO Max™ is WarnerMedia's direct-to-consumer streaming platform, offering best in class quality entertainment. HBO Max features the greatest array of storytelling for all audiences from the iconic brands of HBO, Warner Bros., DC, Cartoon Network, Adult Swim, Turner Classic Movies and much more. The platform launched in the United States in May 2020 and introduced a lower priced, advertising-supported tier in June 2021. HBO Max recently began its global rollout launching in 39 markets across Latin America and the Caribbean, and will enter Europe later this year and into next as it begins replacing the HBO-branded streaming services.

The Job

As a senior specialist in paid search, you will play a key role in helping us achieve our growth ambitions.

Report to the EMEA Paid Search Manager, the Paid Search Marketing Specialist will be a key person in planning, managing, budgeting, monitoring, and optimising the paid search channel covering the EMEA region. You will be part of a large digital media team located across all of Europe where your focus will be to drive customer acquisition. In addition to managing the paid search channel, you will work in cross functional teams within the growth marketing department on various projects to assist in driving brand recognition and customer acquisition for HBO Max.

The Daily
• Develop, implement, and manage the paid search marketing campaigns in the EMEA region in collaboration with our performance marketing agency.
• Use data to test, optimize and scale paid search activity.
• Produce detailed analysis and reports of campaign performance.
• Present channel analysis and reports to a range of audiences within the organization.
• Work cross channel on various digital growth projects.
• Utilize test and learn strategies to understand and improve the conversion funnel.
• Maintain partnerships with paid search ad vendors (Google & Microsoft).

The Essentials
• Proven experience working with paid search marketing, either inhouse or with an agency.
• Expert level knowledge of platforms such as Google Ads, Bing Ads, Apple Search Ads.
• Proven experience working with large-scale multinational search accounts (+$100K/month).
• Comprehensive knowledge in data analysis and reporting tools such as Google Analytics and Google Data Studio.

The Nice to Haves
• Experience working with paid search scripts.
• Google ads / Bing certification.
• Understanding of HTML and XML.
