The Job
HBO Max Technology, a growing global organization that aims to be the industry leader in building media technology solutions, faces an urgent need to scale, resulting in a need to augment our internal processes, documentation and organizational scalability initiatives.
This is a mid-level role, part of the Growth & Technology Operations (GTO) team within HBO Max Technology, offering the opportunity for someone with 5+ years of experience, excellent writing/communication skills, and a willingness to drive projects that improve the workflows, efficiency and employee experience of hundreds of people around the world.
This person will support the Director of Growth Planning and Operations in establishing a vision and prioritized monthly plan, and then will execute against that plan, leveraging their years of experience to exercise a high level of autonomy and decision-making and ensuring our Documentation and Growth Planning/Ops programs support a healthy organization and successful execution of our Objectives and Key Results. This person will work with the Director on larger initiatives and independently plan and deliver small- to midsize initiatives and deliverables.
Program Management Responsibilities:
Develop PDLC knowledge, establish strategy, plans and targeted outcomes to fill gaps in information utility, sharing, and access
Identify and manage key stakeholders, act as a change agent to clarify and implement best practices across the organization
Develop project timelines and milestones, draft and distribute notes
Plan and create deliverables
Ensure the working team is tracking toward timely completion of deliverables, ensure minimal disruption of normal business operations
Engage with product teams across the organization to improve documentation ecosystems, drive globally distributed engagement and socialize a positive documentation culture throughout the organization
- then measure and report on their effectiveness and impact
Assess organizational priorities and related opportunities for business process improvement
Develop and propose strategy

Support Organizational growth:
Develop strategy and plans and establish targeted outcomes
Identify and manage key stakeholders, act as a change agent to implement and manage best practices across the organization

Step in for leader as needed to plan and deliver cross-functional efforts to identify, manage, document, and mitigate org-impacting information sharing issues.
Manage and develop the training curriculum to efficiently onboard new employees to technology platforms and systems.
The Essentials
• 3 years related Program Management experience
• Experience working with or in a Technology organization; ideally working in an Agile environment
• Demonstrated understanding of the Product Development Lifecycle (PDLC)
• Experience independently managing multiple time-critical programs simultaneously and working with senior stakeholders across many disciplines
• Demonstrated, flawless integrity in handling sensitive information
• Strong customer orientation; can provide examples of soliciting customer input and advocating for improvements to increase customer satisfaction.
• Exceptional writing skills (will ask for examples)
• Experience delivering multiple projects simultaneously in a fluid environment, while managing stakeholders and working well under deadlines
• Metrics-oriented (will ask for examples) and low-ego; able to pivot if the data supports it
• Strong interpersonal skills, to find and execute work that involves coordinating inputs from multiple individuals, and then advocating for and socializing that work.
