Product Manager II, Product Insights (HBO Max)

The Job

WarnerMedia Direct to Consumer (DTC), a division of WarnerMedia, is looking for a Product Manager II, Product Insights to help drive analytics and insights for HBO Max Product Commerce (hbomax.com, acquisition funnel, retention, authentication).

You will be responsible for helping define the strategy and roadmap for HBO Max commerce analytics and related feature improvements. You will work with data every day to uncover trends and seek insights that inform future product direction. You will rely on strong collaboration and analytical skills to drive successful implementation and delivery of actionable commerce insights.

In this key connecting role, you will collaborate with business stakeholders and a cross-functional team of Designers, Technical Program Managers and Engineers to develop a roadmap for improving our acquisition and retention performance indicators. You have strong product sense, as well as organizational and problem-solving skills. You are also experienced and comfortable navigating ambiguity and influencing without authority.
Occasional travel required (when safe). This position reports to the Director of Product Management.

The Daily
• Work with product owners to design requirements for feature measurement and analytics for existing and new HBO Max commerce features
• Drive global business growth by defining new and meaningful KPIs and OKRs for acquisition, retention, authentication
• Collaborate with product managers, BI engineers, and other cross-functional teams to design and deploy business intelligence dashboards and tools and ensure data cleanliness and validity
• Work in Excel, Google Analytics, Looker and other data visualization tools to create new views and reports for daily use and executive reviews
• Build and maintain a prioritized backlog of commerce analytics projects that will advance the organization's understanding of acquisition patterns
• Continuous reporting and analytics on performance & metrics, including post-project release impact reports, leading to actionable plans and results
• Maintain internal and external relationships with regard to technical teams, content, project management, internal departments, and vendors

The Essentials
• Bachelor's degree required
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience
• 2+ years of applied Product Management experience or Digital Analytics with a focus on acquisition, retention, and conversion KPIs
• Digital product analytics experience with Omniture/Google Analytics and Looker preferred
• Experience using OKRs to impact a direct to consumer business.
• Passion for solving customer problems

• Excellent analytical skills with demonstrated experience turning data into actionable insights
• Deep understanding of business strategy and metrics
