Job Description
Position Responsibilities:
• Act as the initial HR point of contact for all HBO Max employee and manager requests (across allocated country/countries). Respond to all enquires and requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Manage end to end recruitment process with lines managers and the Talent Acquisition team. This includes but not limited to identifying the needs of the Company; supporting line managers to draft accurate position descriptions; provide EEO and interview skills training to line managers; participate in candidate interviews; and support the candidate offer.
• Work closely with the Employee Connection team to ensure all permanent and fixed term employees are accurately contracted and onboarded.
• Work to resolve employee and organizational issues in a proactive and positive manner. Provide advice, coaching, and training to management on leadership and employee development issues with creative and strategic HR value-added recommendations in support of clients' requests.
• Respond to tier one grievances or concerns. In partnership with the People Partner Lead, advise, guide and support line managers in performance management, disciplinary and grievance procedures.
• Interpret and help to implement HR policies, practices and procedures for managers, teams and individual employees that further the mission, values and strategic vision of APAC HBO Max.
• Support the execution of HR-related initiatives such as, DI&E, talent management, employee development, performance management, and various other programs. Work with internal COE's as required.
• Where required, always partners with Employee Relations, Labour Relations and Employment Legal to deliver HR solutions on people related issues.
• Partner with Safety and COVID Compliance Officers to support COVID policies and protocols (Company and country requirements).
• Develop and maintain successful business partner relationships with key stakeholders across allocated country/countries (including People Partners Lead, Employee Connections, COE partners, and Business Manager(s)).
• Ensure a good understanding of the financial drivers of your business and competitive market activity in order to ensure HR is well placed to provide commercial advice and respond to current and future business and market challenges.
• Work closely with People Partner Lead to ensure that all staff members are well motivated, trained and developed to their full potential to ensure that each project achieves its creative and operational and objectives to maximum effect.
• Champion ''Ways we Work'' and local purpose in all aspects of team engagement.
• Foster a positive and high achieving culture that embraces continual change and encourages creative risk-taking that achieves goals.
• Keep abreast of HR trends/practices, legislation and requirements for your respective country/countries to effectively manage and communicate to employees and managers.
• Manages special projects, as assigned to ensure value add.

Work Experience :
• Ideally 5+ years' experience in a similar HR role.
• Experience in supporting Tech businesses, strongly preferred.
• Current knowledge of applicable federal and local legislation and regulations strongly preferred.
• A Bachelor's Degree within a related field, preferred.
