The Job

We are looking for an OTC Manager for our new Global Business Centre in Budapest. The initial responsibilities for this role will involve managing the transition of HBO OTC functions across Europe, to a centralized OTC team. The OTC team will be responsible for the end-to-end OTC function and the ongoing responsibility is to manage the OTC function and team to ensure efficient and accurate processing of all aspects of OTC, providing a high level of support to business partners.

The Daily
• Manage the transition and manage, motivate, train and develop a team of 5 direct reports.
• Implement process improvements and globally consistent WM OTC processes.
• Manage the strategic collections process and ensure statutory compliance in the billing process.
• Build key relationships with business and finance partners, escalating issues as appropriate and taking steps for effective resolution.
• Foster and deliver a culture of continuous improvement for the team.
• Assist with DSO and aged debt reduction through effective communication of billing and collections related disputes to the business.
• Manage the withholding tax process and preparation of required tax documentation.
• Monthly reporting of channel distribution reach for use by management, research and the international communications teams.

The Essentials
• Relevant experience managing the OTC/AR functions of a global organization.
• Strong knowledge of OTC and financial concepts.
• Fluent in written and spoken English, additional European language knowledge is a plus
• Proven track record for improving process efficiencies and solving problems.
• Ability to effectively lead change.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience working with Eco software, SUN, PeopleSoft.
