The Job

The NBATV Associate Production Manager will assist with day to day functions of the NBATV Remote & Studio Operations department. Duties include: tent pole event support including travel to specific events throughout the year + event surveys, prep/execute Center Court Game of the Week, manage Master Studio schedule, assist in budget preparation, and work closely with the Crewing Manager in mapping out needed crew for Studio + Remote Programming.

The Daily
• Master Schedule - Work with Coordinating Producers/Directors, Prod Coordinator & Crewing Manager to map out our crew compliment and PCR + Studio needs for all NBATV Studio Programming.
• Assist Sr. Production Manager with setup of tent pole events, i.e. on-site management of logistics, attending surveys, etc.
• Prep & execute marquee Game of the Week (Center Court)
• Collaborate with various groups within the organization on event setup, execution, and postmortem, i.e. TNT OT.
• Assist Sr. Production Manager with Remote budget preparation.
• Meet tight deadlines for various items while working on various events.
• Studio Ops back-up – in studio support (part of staff rotation).

The Essentials
• 5-8 years of experience in TV Production; preferably Sports Production
• Computer literacy in Microsoft – Excel, Word, Outlook. Experience in Concur and Ariba is a plus
• Strong multitasking skills
• Strong communication skills
• Highly motivated and detailed orientated
• Strong problem solving skills
• Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• Travel as needed
