Your New Role...

Warner Bros Discovery is looking for a Manager, Payment Operations within the DTC Global Payment Operations & Fraud team. As the Manager, Payment
Operations, you will play a critical role in evolving and developing the global strategy for payments operations specific to direct-to-consumer subscription products for Warner Bros Discovery with specific focus to the Latin American region.

You will manage and evolve the payments strategy and operations functions in the region ensuring that our workflows and strategies are in line with industry leading practices that meet the needs of our customers. You will work closely and collaborate with other members of the Global Payment Operations & Fraud team , Product, Engineering, Marketing and local market teams to actively ensure that payments strategies are honed, refined and performing effectively as the market
landscape and our brands evolve.

In addition, as part of the DTC Global Payment Operations & Fraud team within Warner Bros Discovery, you will be responsible for overseeing the portfolio of payment operations platform initiatives; addressing and responding to the evolving payments performance, health, and risk needs of Warner Bros Discovery customer base across the LATAM region. The primary goals of this position are to continuously work to evolve the payment operations and fraud program to drive revenue, mitigate losses, optimize operations and protect the customer experience.

Your Role Accountabilities...
• Leads and drives a highly collaborative cross-functional team to oversee the planning, development and design of strategy from new program initiation through operationalization.
• Strategic partner with global and regional Warner Bros Discovery business & legal teams to understand market/regional challenges with respect to all things payments and order-to-cash..
• Responsible for maintaining a strong understanding of evolving payments industry mandates and regulations across multiple global markets in LATAM, most importantly has knowledge on how to react and respond to rapid changes.
• Work closely with Warner Bros Discovery's cross-functional teams to define global business and product goals and objectives, gather requirements, identify product/technology solutions and implement a robust and scalable global payments program for Warner Bros Discovery.
• Oversee the payment ecosystem in LATAM; identifying, researching and implementing payments strategies that improve payment acceptance and encourage subscriber retention/growth.
• Support the go-to-market process and interact with technical developers to translate product requirements into technical specifications.
• Partner extensively with the Payment & Fraud Intelligence team to identify areas of needed payments analytics/reporting, metrics and KPIs to evaluate the overall billing health of the company and effectiveness of payments programs.
• Active participant and advocate in industry work groups and involved on external panels, speaking and media engagements, as well as internal presentations for the Company.
• Manage payment processing across brands in LATAM
• Act as WBD expert on payment processing
• Drive standardization of processes and system functionality across payment processes
• Establish and implement standard payment processes for the Direct to Consumer
Order to Cash process.
• Select the payment methods to be used, finding ways to address the market fully while managing risk.
• Monitor all payments, watching for factors impacting payment authorization rates and looking for ways to improve those rates.
• Support onboarding of new businesses/brands/products into standard payment processes
• Work with brands to assure that proposed offerings can be supported in payments without risking a poor customer experience
• Lead implementation of specific billing/payment related projects
• Work with customer service to resolve payment related issues
• Lead all Direct to Consumer Brands to develop a plan for future state payment functions
• Contribute to long term strategy
• Develop priorities and contribute to the roadmap in conjunction with product and technical teams.
• Manage changes to priorities

Qualifications & Experience...
• Strong analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills. Ability to conduct root cause analysis and narrow in on areas of opportunity.
• Hands on, proactive and willing to be immersed in all aspects of Warner Bros Discovery products and operational functions to support fraud and compliance mandates.
• Demonstrated success building relationships and delivering results with internal stakeholders as well as global, multi-cultural and remote project teams.
• Proven ability to communicate program strategies to upper management, aligning payments program goals to that of the broader organization
• Proven expertise in building winning business cases, translating them into stories to gain approval, and delivering strong P&L results.
• Strong track record of synthesizing products and services from multiple functional areas into value propositions that align with regional or local customer needs.
• Solid understanding of fraud and security as it relates to digital products & services, as well as an external solutions merchant and/or acquiring business, and payments processing.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Demonstrated business acumen and ability to manage integrated product solutions spanning multiple channels/segments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, management information systems or related fields, highly preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in the payments industry, highly preferred.
• Bi-lingual candidate Spanish and English speaking, highly preferred.
• Experience developing and/or managing an international ecommerce payments program, highly preferred.
• Strong Project Management, process and policy experience, highly preferred.
• Understands the entirety of the transaction processing lifecycle and the role different technologies/processes play to encourage customer acquisition and retention, highly preferred.
• Strong experience collaborating with payments data analysts to develop/monitor KPIs and use data to support new projects/opportunities, highly preferred.
• Latin American region based expertise as it relates to Payments and compliance, highly preferred.
• Possess a deep knowledge of Alternative Payment Methods and service providers specific to LATAM, highly preferred.
• Robust experience with facilitating and coordinating major product and strategic development initiatives for a global organization, highly preferred.
