The Job

Home Box Office, Inc. seeks a Lead Consolidations & Reporting for the HBO General Inc.-Financial Planning & Strategy department.

The Daily
• The Distribution Planning & Strategy group is charged with analyzing and maximizing the distribution of WarnerMedia's networks and products with our distribution partners.
• This role assures the accurate and timely consolidations and reporting of Legacy Turner, HBO, and Home entertainment results.
• Providing the reporting and analysis to track MFN compliance and adherence to contractual economic deal terms.
• The Lead will be responsible for the strategy, operations and processes of consolidation and reporting for Distribution revenue and expense.
• The position reports to Executive Vice President, Distribution Planning & Strategy, and manages a team of 5 staff members.

The Essentials
• Minimum 8 years of related work experience in a fast paced, dynamic, customer focused business environment.
• Prior experience managing direct report(s) required.
• Experience in either traditional (television) or non-traditional (online) media, such as cable distribution, over-the-top providers, advertising, film studios, social media, etc.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills are required.
• Experience using Hyperion/SmartView/Essbase products is a plus as well as General Ledger systems (e.g., Oracle/SAP), or other relational based systems.
• Proven track record of preparing and presenting to senior business executives to solve business challenges.
• Demonstrated quantitative/financial modeling using sophisticated analytical concepts to define business driver and key metrics.
