HBO Max is the future of entertainment and storytelling.

HBO Max™ is WarnerMedia's direct-to-consumer streaming platform, offering best in class quality entertainment. HBO Max features the greatest array of storytelling for all audiences from the iconic brands of HBO, Warner Bros., DC, Cartoon Network, Adult Swim, Turner Classic Movies and much more. The platform launched in the United States in May 2020 and introduced a lower priced, advertising-supported tier in June 2021. HBO Max recently began its global rollout launching in 39 markets across Latin America and the Caribbean, and HBO Max will enter Europe later this year and into next as it begins replacing the HBO-branded streaming services.

The Job

The Executive Assistant will provide professional administrative support directly to the SVP Growth Marketing and, as required, to the General Manager (HBO Max EMEA). The Executive Assistant may also be required to be provide admin support to wider Marketing leadership team if capacity allows.

The successful candidate will understand the importance of providing exceptional and dedicated support, adopt a positive, professional and delivery-focused approach and be flexible and resilient to carry out multiple varied tasks with minimal direction.

The role requires someone who is super-organised, methodical and focused in their approach to work, comfortable working alongside senior individuals and with very high levels of written and oral communications skills. The Executive Assistant must be smart, creative and enjoy working within a complex and fast-moving entrepreneurial environment in which they can operate confidently and independently and also collaborate well with the broader HBO Max EMEA admin team.

The Daily
• Organize, maintain and manage complex calendars and schedules, using judgment and insight to proactively resolve any scheduling issues
• Maintain a daily calendar of meetings and events; working proactively to schedule large meetings across multiple international time zones
• Preparation for and acting as secretariat in internal meetings: preparing agendas, taking notes and following up actions as required
• Prepare Word, Excel, PowerPoint presentations, agendas, reports, special projects and other documents
• Take and deliver accurate messages; respond to requests by gathering and providing information and referring non-routine calls to the appropriate staff.
• Draft and prepare communications for internal announcements and other communciations
• Reading, researching, collecting and analyzing information as needed
• Complete adhoc projects as assigned
• Arrange travel and accommodations for executives.
• Prepare, track and follow up expense reports.
• Be responsive to emails/texts/phone calls, with contact outside normal business hours

The Essentials
• Previous experience within the Marketing/Sales function of an international organization – Media preferred but not essential
• Experience working as an assistant to a senior executive who travels frequently and works across multiple time zones.
• Advanced skills in all Microsoft packages, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Confident and calm demeanour, with the ability to work under pressure
• Proactive, capable, well organised and deadline-oriented.
• Ability to anticipate and manage workload, and manage upwards
• Use insight of business priorities and executive workload to manage schedules
• A self-starting attitude, able to work independently within a relatively flat organisational structure and confident in liaising with people at all levels
• Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
• Accurate with exceptional proof-reading skills and attention to detail
• Professional, discreet and confidential
• Quick learner and open to new technologies and experience
• ''Can do'' attitude and flexibility to go the extra mile
• Exceptionally strong organisation skills and service mentality
• Fluent English language skills (spoken and written)
