VIDEO NEWS EDITOR (P/T) - WLOX

Job Summary/Description:
This is your chance to join WLOX News Now as a part-time video editor. This opportunity is for someone who can help us visualize the day's top news stories. The person we hire must know to use great video to tell stories and tease our newscasts. The ability to blend dynamic audio into what's edited is also major component of this position.
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Edit video and audio for our newscasts, our digital platforms and our OTT digital desk
* Know how the video used in stories can impact viewers and the community
* Adjust on the fly when breaking news changes our coverage plans
* Be a leader in the newsroom
Qualifications/Requirements:
This position requires applicable college degree and at least one year experience at a broadcast station. Also requires a clean driving record, proof of insurability and a valid driver's license.
