Tallahassee is known for its rolling hills and numerous canopy roads. The first things most notice when they arrive are the beautiful live oak trees draped with Spanish moss. Tallahassee is the state capital, and politics are front and center. It's also home to many colleges and trade schools, most notably Florida State University and FAMU. Our viewers are college sports fans, especially during football season! In 2015, Tallahassee was awarded the All-American City Award by the National Civic League for the second time. Tallahassee is a fantastic place to work with plenty to do when you have some days off.

Job Summary/Description:

The TMP is responsible for directing live and pre-recorded productions utilizing Ross OverDrive automation software. The TMP is also responsible for monitoring the station's on-air signals, transmitter, and FCC logs as well as segmenting and ingesting daily programming and commercials. The successful candidate enjoys problem solving, possess strong communication and organizational skills and can perform well under pressure. The ideal candidate must be a detail-oriented team player that is eager to learn and willing to be challenged.

Qualifications/Requirements:
- 1 year of experience in journalism, production, media or related fields
- Ability to prioritize complex tasks and manage time effectively
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Willingness to learn new hardware and software
- Ability to meet hard deadlines and make split second decisions
- Experience with Ross Overdrive, VizRT and ENPS favored
- Experience with Photoshop & Premiere Pro is a plus
- Master Control automation experience preferred
- Flexibility with assigned scheduling and job assignments
- Available to work early mornings, nights, weekends and holidays as scheduled
- Reliable transportation
