Job Summary:

Gray Television is a broadcast pioneer that keeps getting bigger and better! Gray is looking for dynamic news anchors to join our award-winning teams. We want leaders who are committed to quality journalism. Gray needs journalists who are determined to help our stations win on every platform every single day. Not only will you deliver the news from the desk, you'll also report on some of the biggest stories in the communities we serve. Gray is looking for experienced anchors and reporters who are determined to dig deep and find the lead story, while mentoring younger journalists in our newsrooms. Gray Television has anchor opportunities in all day-parts: mornings, mid-day, and evenings.

Essential responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Anchoring newscasts as assigned
- Live reporting
- Shooting, writing, editing new promotable stories

Qualifications/Requirements:

Ideal candidate should have at least one year experience as an anchor for a broadcast news station or news website. The successful candidate preferably has a bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism or a related field. You must be a self-starter, with knowledge of and the ability to operate state-of-the-art television news equipment as well as website publishing and social media.
