WWNY-TV is the legacy broadcaster in Northern New York's ''north country.'' We serve Jefferson, Lewis, and St. Lawrence counties, from the Thousand Islands to the beautiful Adirondacks.

Job Summary/Description:

7 News, the north country's news leader, is looking for a full-time MMJ. We pride ourselves on helping younger reporters hone their writing, photography, and broadcasting skills in an award winning newsroom filled with journalists who have decades of experience in the market. We're looking for candidates who are passionate about news, storytelling, and local journalism that matters.

Your responsibilities will include (but not be limited to) the following:
- Work with 7 News team to develop engaging local stories
- Shoot, edit, write, and report news stories on-air five days a week
- Fill-in anchor opportunities available

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Four-year journalism degree preferred
- Experience with ENPS, Edius preferred
- On-the-job training available
- Must be able to carry 35-50 lbs. of camera gear
