Local News LIVE is Gray TV's 24/7 live streaming news network. It provides live coverage from Gray's 113 markets, allowing viewers to watch stories from across the country on one platform. Job Summary/Description:

Local News LIVE is looking for Meteorologists to join our 24/7 live streaming news network. The ideal candidate has a passion for breaking news and extreme weather. Local News LIVE is seeking meteorologists who think on their feet, thrive on what's happening in the moment and embrace a startup culture.

Duties/Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Coordinate with weather and news teams for comprehensive severe weather coverage
- Articulate and identify the big weather story to help drive content decisions
- Anchor and produce breaking news, live events, and weather coverage
- Collaborate with producers/anchors to develop and deliver compelling news coverage
- Process constantly changing information for presentation in a non-scripted live environment
- Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:
- BS/BA in journalism, communications, or related field preferred
- At least 3 years' experience preferred
- Sound editorial judgment and AP style writing skills
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment requiring strict deadlines and a focus on team orientation
- Familiarity with ENPS, BitCentral and digital content management systems
- Demonstrated ability to host compelling live programming
- AMS Seal of Approval preferred
