KSWO is the ABC affiliate in the Wichita Falls/Lawton market. We lead the market in providing outstanding news, weather and entertainment to the communities in 17 Oklahoma and Texas Counties.

Job Summary/Description:

KSWO is looking for a Master Control Operator. This position is responsible for the monitoring of the stations on-air signals, transmitter and station logs, automation playlists, and ingesting of content. Candidate must have suitable transportation to work, including during inclement weather conditions. Strong communication skills and an operating knowledge of computers is preferred. A successful candidate should also have a brief knowledge of general newscast operation.

Primary job duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Preventing, monitoring and reporting on-air errors
• Keep accurate transmitter and program logs
• Switch breaks and programming, oversee automation for broadcast channels
• Ingest and segment content for playout systems
• Assist with the production of local news as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:
• Must be able to work well under pressure
• Working knowledge of computer systems
• Willingness and excitement to learn new technologies
• Valid driver's license
