Job Summary/Description:

Do you love festivals, eating the best food, watching the best bands, and just enjoying all of the fun things Baton Rouge has to offer? We are looking for an entertainment reporter to run WAFB's lifestyle brand, The Louisiana Weekend.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Staying updated on events in the Baton Rouge area
- Writing website content
- Having good energy on camera
- Social media marketing
- Videography
- Write and edit news-style and vlog style stories
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:
• Bachelor s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Film/Video, Communication, Reporting/Journalism, or other related field preferred. Must provide creative reel demonstrating on-camera presence and knowledge of video production. Knowledge of Facebook/ Instagram/TikTok, plus audience engagement and management tools for digital publishing is required. Experience with google analytics is a plus. On-camera experience preferred. Some evenings and weekends required.
