Job Summary/Description:

The Digital Sales Manager will have a major focus on the Digital business. The Digital Sales Manager will lead the advertising sales department to develop creative advertising campaigns which can be executed seamlessly across multiple media platforms. The expectation is to exceed quarterly and annual revenue goals. Act as the Digital Point Person for all communication with Gray Digital Media, Advertising Sales staff and clients.

Your responsibilities will include (but not be limited to) the following:
• Manages the Sales Team to achieve budget, both Agency and New Direct business
• Maintains an effective call report system to ensure proper development of new and existing accounts
• Develops and implements plans, new products and effective sales presentations to generate new business
• Develop and maintain good Agency and Advertiser relationships and make sales calls with Account Executives
• Manage inventory control, rate structure and traffic system
• Create and maintain local sales budgets and forecasting
• There will be a significant focus on consumer insights, market research, trends, and specific client challenges to ensure advertising campaigns are custom designed and provide an effective return on investment for clients
• The Digital Sales Manager may lead client meetings, sales meetings, and will play a key role in the digital sales training of the sales staff

Qualifications/Requirements:
• Prefer a bachelor's degree in business Administration with an emphasis in marketing or advertising. Proven track record of sales success
• 5 years leading a team in at least one of the following areas is preferred: marketing, advertising agency, digital media, or media sales.
• Proven track record of developing unique advertising campaigns and promotions for advertisers across radio formats, multiple media, digital and social media platforms.
• Strong track record of developing strategic priorities, action plans and track record of achieving results preferred. Proven understanding of the competitive media landscape.
• Highly successful at leading collaboration and leading cross-departmental process.
• Well versed in Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Power Point and Excel. Experience with WideOrbit a plus. Strong business writing, listening and verbal communication skills. Google Analytics and DART for Publisher experience preferred but not required
• Strong Management skills
• Valid Driver's license, and good driving record (will be reviewed)
