Job Summary/Description:
Job entails helping to produce 2-and-a-half hour weekday morning newscasts and learning the producer's role sufficiently to serve as a fill-in for that position. The job also requires posting materials to social media and station website.
Primary job duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Sending and taking video feeds
- Editing video for air and website
- Sending materials to newscast rundowns
- Timing newscasts
- Assisting with studio prep
- Posting materials to website and social media
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Educational background in electronic mass media/journalism or related discipline
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record preferred
