About the Position

The Golden State Warriors are looking for a Sr. Marketing Manager to help oversee marketing programs and day-to-day marketing operations across the organization (Brand Marketing, Corporate Partnerships, Community Relations, Ticket Sales/Services, etc.). In this role, you will work closely with the broader Marketing and Studio teams, and cross-functionally to lead the development and execution of strategic marketing plans. This position reports to the Sr. Director, Marketing and Operations.

This is full-time role based in San Francisco, CA.

Key Responsibilities
• Collaborate with Marketing Leadership to drive the development of strategic campaign plans from inception to execution for GSW brand initiatives and department initiatives to increase fan satisfaction, community engagement, and revenue
• Partner with internal Marketing teams (Studio, Social, Game Experience, Growth & Retention, and Web/App) to brief on upcoming efforts for alignment, content creation, media planning/implementation and continued promotional support through owned or paid media
• Lead day-to-day internal Studio team and freelance consultants in connection with Warriors campaign development including brief writing, budgets, production timelines, and ongoing creative direction/feedback
• Ensure internal partner needs are met while creating the appropriate marketing strategy, media, deliverables and activations to achieve their goals
• Create and oversee master project timelines for deliverables, budgets, distribution of creative materials for review/approval/trafficking, and promotional merchandise plans or other marketing materials
• Drive plans with Marketing Associates, Design and external vendors to secure promotional goods, signage, installations and other creative orders to meet campaign/program objectives
• Own cross-functional meetings to align on marketing initiatives by setting a clear agenda and expectations, encouraging participation and recapping next steps
• Prioritize and balance multiple and concurrent high priority marketing projects including creative deliverables and media scheduling
• Be a brand steward for the Warriors brand including the socialization and adoption of our brand guidelines, creative review/approvals, and ongoing refreshes as needed
• Lead the growth and development of one direct report

Required Experience & Skills
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Marketing or Business Administration, or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 5 years project management experience within Marketing or Creative Services, preferably within the sports/entertainment industry
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent written and verbal communication, customer service and resolution skills
• Ability to build positive relationships with clients and peers at all levels within the organization
• Ability to balance multiple projects at once in a fast-paced work environment
• Ability to maintain a flexible schedule as evenings and weekend work shifts may be required
