Manager, Awards (FX)

This role will participate in FX awards submissions and campaigns. The Awards Manager is part of a team and will share in the management and oversight of all entries and campaign-related tasks. This role is responsible for developing and managing FYC events, managing awards ceremonies; including the handling of all nominees, creating and managing FYC initiatives with SVP, overseeing TV Academy memberships, etc. Position collaborates closely with FX Events/Talent Relations on all FYC events – taking the lead on all awards aspects and working with the SVP on all FYC ads and campaign ideas and materials. Also includes oversight of staff managing assets for entry, and regular communication with FX media-buying agency.

Responsibilities:
• Work with the Director of Awards Strategy on annual awards submissions inclusive of managing execution of submissions across all appropriate awards opportunities.
• Serve as key conduit for awards organizations relating to all submissions, ceremonies, FYC events, outreach, etc.
• Act as key conduit with TR on all FYC events and planning as well as serving as the main point of contact on all ceremonies for FX nominees.
• Oversee process, timeline, and approvals for all awards outreach.
• Work in tandem with the SVP Creative Services on FYC workflow on FYC ads, voter outreach including blasts, screening code access, etc.
• Collaborate with and Co-Lead all Guild and ATAS FYC event and panel needs with the FX Events team - including participating in lottery, managing invite creation and dissemination to members as well as managing ATAS relationship and talent needs at each event.
• Collaborate with and Co-Manage with the FX Talent Relations teams on oversight of talent, producer and executive requirements for all award show attendees including travel and grooming is appropriately executed and that itineraries are correct and delivered in a timely fashion.
• Serve as main point for all required awards assets
• Responsible for selecting (in collaboration with the FX publicity team), reviewing, routing, and submitting all clips necessary for both awards submissions and award show needs.
• Supervise SVP assistant managing all assets and delivery.
• Oversee/maintain Awards recordkeeping for FX, keep information up to date and press-ready.

Requirements:
• 4+ years of experience in entertainment Awards and/or publicity, talent relations preferred.
• Experience with deadline-oriented logistical planning and execution is necessary.
• College degree required.
• The ability to manage budgets and assess costs is vital. The ability to game out scenarios and their impacts is essential – the ability to see both big and little picture for each scenario is a plus.
• This job requires a high level of attention to detail. The ability to multitask with overlapping, simultaneous deadlines, remain calm under pressure, be nimble and willing to change course, have strong prioritization skills, be reliable, responsible, and accountable.
