Director, Digital Marketing Technology Program Management (FX – Los Angeles, CA 90064)

FX is seeking a Director of Digital Marketing Technology Program Management that works with teams across the FX multi-platform marketing group, Disney and external vendor partners on all managed best-in-class digital marketing platforms in support of FX original programming, FX on Hulu exclusives and the FX brand. The role supports the network's branded consumer facing marketing platforms and promotional campaigns via online and mobile, digital marketing experiences, new platform integrations, as well as team applications that increase overall efficiency of the Digital Marketing group.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee and provide leadership to technical vendors with daily communication as required through standup meetings, daily scrums, sprint planning, retrospectives, platform demos and backlog grooming.
• Maintain program and project level status documentation with vendors using JIRA, Confluence and other tracking and collaboration tools while leveraging agile methodologies.
• Define project requirements and acceptance criteria including communicating detailed project objectives, milestones and deliverables gaining consensus from stakeholders and vendor partners.
• Ensure that vendor teams are fully planned and productive while matching the high operational tempo of the Digital Marketing team.
• Remove vendor impediments and collaborate with various Disney organizations while escalating issues.
• Engage in hands-on technical and non-technical issue resolution, corrective action planning and lead end-to-end system reviews to prevent future occurrences and increase overall reliability.
• Working with VP, manage budgets and monthly reporting, assist in quarterly and fiscal year planning, track overall spend and deviations, and update financial and business documentation as required including statements of work, authorizations, and invoices.
• As the subject matter expert, lead the best practice integration and use of program and project management software, coordinate and direct all activities associated with creating and maintaining project plans, communication plans, risks, and issues.
• Drive efficiency and accuracy in project management across the team while training and mentoring individual contributors.
• Prepare and present program-level status reports covering multiple individual concurrent projects to executive leadership.
• Evaluate emerging consumer marketing platforms and technology, perform competitive vendor analysis, provide documented recommendations, and develop plans of action for new digital marketing projects.
• Participate in general marketing activities including the development of digital consumer-facing experiences, on-platform editorial curation, and support cross-functional marketing initiatives collaborating with teams across the Multi-platform Marketing group.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree with a marketing, business, or technology focus preferred.
• 8+ years' experience technical program or project management for marketing or web applications for a consumer facing internet, agency, large consumer brand or entertainment company required.
• Hands-on experience as an individual contributor in a systems administrator/engineer/developer of DevOps role or experience managing infrastructure in AWS is preferred.
• Media or entertainment industry experience is a plus.
• Must be proactive, multifaceted, capable of working on concurrent complex projects and able to communicate effectively to digital team members, vendors and executives.
• Strong familiarity with web technologies and project management software.
• Experience with budgeting and scope review from a product development perspective.
• Must be able to drive complex projects with minimal oversight.
