JOB DESCRIPTION

FOX Entertainment is looking for a Writer/Producer to join our Multiplatform Creative & Integrated Marketing department and be responsible for the pre-production, production, and post-production of cross-platform content-driven campaigns and video franchises that engage audiences and encourage brand affinity in support of marketing initiatives for FOX Entertainment.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Work across departments, vendors and partners to produce innovative digital content series, trailers, promos, live productions, digital episodes and interactive programs for fans of FOX shows
• Read, write and develop scripts for digital exclusive content, read episodic scripts, and watch all upcoming episodes for upcoming shows
• Provide clear and insightful creative direction and feedback on video content pieces to meet stated performance goals
• Compile and communicate video content performance metrics regularly with various entities
• Serve as the main point of contact for show production and internal groups for video content production, post-production, integrations, sponsorships and custom content extensions
• Build relationships and be familiar with talent, show producers, and on-set production teams
• Attend and actively contribute to brainstorm sessions, content strategy meetings for shows, and help define the creative direction of the network's marketing efforts
• Track and analyze competitive network and co-branded digital content activities across the Internet, mobile, tablet and connectedTV platforms
• Stay up to date with emerging platforms/products to ensure that FOX is first to market for activating innovative content-driven campaigns
• Spearhead original content planning, scheduling, budgeting and creative direction
• Manage the overall digital content production calendar that spans across multiple stakeholders and work closely with various departments to meet deadlines and milestones
• Meaningfully collaborate with the brand partnerships and content partnerships teams to build out and pitch innovative content campaigns to sponsors and partners
• Provide strategic, detailed direction to internal departments and vendors assigned to execute the content marketing and production plan
• Evaluate and compile content marketing case studies and develop models for future activations – learning from past successes/failures to maintain an edge over competitive shows/network
• Be ready and willing to pitch in on content activations for special events coverage, fan events, content-centric media partnerships, sponsorship initiatives, and more to make sure that cross-platform marketing campaigns run smoothly
• Maintain awareness of industry trends and the competitive landscape, including social media best practices, campaigns, emerging social tools, etc.
• Create videos with unique, highly shareable angles relevant to FOX audience for multiple platforms including on-air, FOX NOW, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, etc.
• Manage all location and in-studio video shoots with talent and oversee interviews and questions to assure they are ''on brand'' for FOX and relevant for proposed content
• Manage and deliver multiple video projects on fast-paced timelines while ensuring that videos are executed and delivered according to project scope and workflow guidelines
• Work with Social, Digital, Publicity, Design and Media teams to develop platform-specific creative and find new ways to grow fan/follower base and engagement
• Work closely with many internal and external teams to create, launch and maintain 360-degree content marketing campaigns across media and emerging platforms

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• 7+ years of experience as a writer/producer/director at an ad agency, television network, production company. and/or digital content agency
• Experience using a CMS to publish content online
• Expertise in digital/social media tools: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Tumblr, etc.
• Sophisticated understanding of internet video technologies
• Understanding of TV publicity and marketing strategies
• Understanding of pop culture and place of network television, video games, social platforms, interactive community within that culture
• Understanding of consumer interaction with emergent content delivery forms (e.g., broadband, VOD, mobile)
• Understanding of brand identity and management
• Exceptional communications skills both written and personal and the ability to interact one-to-one with FOX viewers, show staff and talent
• Ability to develop complex processes and systems
• A passion for viral advertising and knowledge of nuances of each social media platform
• A keen eye for detail and an understanding of how viewers want to receive and interact with video content
