The Vice President of Social Media will be an instrumental member of the FOX Entertainment Marketing team. This role will develop, communicate, and execute the social media strategy and collaborate with various roles within marketing to elevate FOX Entertainment as well as all of the shows under the FOX Entertainment umbrella. You will also work closely on the TUBI brand as it becomes further integrated with the network.
The Vice President of Social Media will oversee the development and content-sourcing of social forward digital plans for 300+ social media profiles across all major platforms including Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, Tumblr and others. You will be accountable for conceiving, directing and managing digitally-driven marketing programs as well as representing the FOX and TUBI brands and voices across the social landscape. Campaigns may need to be tailored to meet various goals and this role will help craft the objectives and key performance indicators for each account, as well as create and execute channel strategies that drive engagement and growth. This individual will provide custom digital content extensions for sponsorship opportunities and will help manage relationships with online partners, influencers and agencies. Experimentation with the goal of testing and learning is encouraged!
You will manage a team of 8-10 highly talented individuals and oversee the relationship with external agencies. You are someone who values a positive work environment, has a strong work ethic with an eye for detail, and thrives on being part of a collaborative team. It will be equally as important to manage and support the team, as it will be to serve as a senior executive delivering on company goals. Leadership, communication, and creative skills are keys to success in this role. This individual should also value the use of data and metrics as well as be comfortable analyzing information to optimize results.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Engage online fans and evangelists for our brands to encourage viewership and increase ratings
• Mentor a team of social directors, managers and coordinators while inspiring them to innovate and think in new and relevant ways
• Partner with team members to continue evolving the brand social accounts of FOXTV and TUBI into distinct content platforms
• Create and articulate a strategic vision for FOX shows on social media to capture audience attention and create buzz
• Successfully work with and support FOX Entertainment departments, other FOX Corp divisions, and outside studio partners
• Communicate directly and create positive relationships with talent, talent representation and producers
• Partner internally with creative teams to deliver high-quality content for social pages as well as champion efforts to push the envelope in terms of innovation
• Originate, direct and implement creative viral marketing concepts, taking advantage of ever-changing technologies
• Ideate with and support Ad Sales teams with cross-platform social media integrations
• Oversee and QA owned and operated website programming
• Drive press coverage for social campaigns through organic outreach and collaboration with Publicity teams
• Lead digital/social media efforts at press events (Award Shows/Academy Events, etc.)
• Work closely with and develop a symbiotic relationship with the following teams within Marketing - Strategy, PR, Multi-Platform Content, Multi-Platform Partnerships, Creative Advertising, Paid Media, Brand Partnerships and Ad Sales
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• 10+ years experience in digital/social media
• 5+ years managing a multi-level team
• Experience with talent relations / communication / social management
• Enjoyment of a high volume, fast-paced environment
• Ability to adapt

• Highly skilled at multi-tasking
