Fox Television Stations is one of the nation's largest owned-and-operated network broadcast groups, comprising 29 stations in 18 markets and covering over 37% of US television homes. Are you a creative Night Owl? Are you brimming with digital content ideas looking for a home? Your perfect opportunity is at KRIV FOX26 Houston. This position will focus on developing and generating video-centric social media content, polling and live stream content for our FOX 26 Local Programming initiatives and local news, including The News Edge @ 10, The Isiah Factor Uncensored and The Nightcap. In addition, this producer will oversee live streaming content and will work with both digital management, newsroom personnel and the Creative Services Department to launch new livestream programs and podcasts.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Create compelling, content across multiple platforms including TV broadcast air and various digital media platforms as well as taking the local programming/ late night content and posting it on the FOX26Houston.com website and YouTube channel. You'll create stories using text/photos/graphics, develop and oversee live streaming content. Engage our communities with ASK FOX26 polls for utilization of various digital platforms. Follow FTS group legal and news standards. Monitor real-time analytics. Other duties as deemed necessary and assigned.

REQUIREMENTS: 2+ years' experience developing and publishing content, including news, on digital and social platforms preferred. BA/BS degree, preferably in Journalism, Digital Media, Communications or a related field with emphasis on digital publishing. Excellent writer and storyteller. Impeccable writing and copy editing skills. Overwhelming attention to detail. Thrive under deadline pressure. Stellar communication skills. Social media expert. Proficient in content management systems, video publishing, live streaming, and digital analytics tools. Video and photo editing experience (Adobe products a plus). Candidate must be able to work flexible hours/shifts/shows, late nights, weekends and holidays may be required. Must have a valid credit card and driver's license.
