JOB DESCRIPTION

FOX6 Milwaukee is looking for a Production Technician to assist with the production of live news broadcasts, commercial and promotional projects by operating equipment such as studio cameras, teleprompters and lighting equipment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position is responsible for studio lighting, constructing and maintaining sets. You must be familiar with a lighting grid. You will be cuing talent and assisting talent and guests with wireless microphones and IFB set up. In this role you will operate special equipment such as the teleprompter and jib camera. You will be responsible for cleaning the studio and reporting any malfunctioning equipment to engineering.

Qualified candidate must have studio lighting experience and a basic understanding of set construction. The ability to handle simple tools and physically able to move studio fixtures is required. Must possess ability to communicate clearly and effectively to relay directions and work well in a team. Candidates will have a technical school education or equivalent experience in television or theater production procedures.
