JOB DESCRIPTION

FOX6 Milwaukee is looking for an Associate Producer to join our Real Milwaukee team! The successful candidate for this position must be able to demonstrate a strong commitment to accuracy, detail and creativity.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Associate Producers help the Staff Producer and talent in all areas of their work: writing, running scripts, tracking down information via phone or online. You will be producing segments so bring your creativity and your energy!! We want you to know the people in the know – and get them on our show! We want guests who are opinionated, controversial and funny. And whether you're booking guests or producing segments, we need it to be great TV. This is the path to becoming a full-time show producer, so on-air wannabe's won't cut it. If you've got some experience in a newsroom, are passionate about quality, teamwork and time management then this might be the job for you!!

A bachelor's degree in journalism or communications is required; previous experience in a TV newsroom as a broadcast news producer or digital producer is preferred.
