Fox Television Stations is one of the nation's largest owned-and-operated network broadcast groups, comprising 29 stations in 18 markets and covering over 37% of US television homes. This includes seven duopolies in the top 10 markets: New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, San Francisco, Washington, DC and Houston; as well as duopolies in Minneapolis, Phoenix, Orlando and Seattle.

JOB DESCRIPTION

KTVU is seeking candidates for an Assistant Newscast Director. Primary duties will include running robotic cameras, floor directing, and formatting newscasts. Consulting with Producer, Directors, Anchors and other crew members on production needs. We are an Ignite facility with Avid iNEWS. While the main emphasis is news, this position may be called upon to assist in all types of television station programs--sports, promotion, local programming, community affairs, commercials and remotes. Other duties assigned as deemed appropriate and necessary.

High school diploma is required; 4-year College degree is preferred. Candidate should have prior experience with fast paced television productions. Ignite knowledge or other newscast automation experience is a plus. Excellent communication and leadership skills are necessary
