Fox Television Stations is one of the nation's largest owned-and-operated network broadcast groups, comprising 29 stations in 18 markets and covering over 37% of US television homes. This includes seven duopolies in the top 10 markets: New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, San Francisco, Washington, DC and Houston; as well as duopolies in Minneapolis, Phoenix, Orlando and Seattle.

JOB DESCRIPTION

KTVU FOX 2 is seeking individuals that have a respect for journalism and want to be part of the station's best in class reporting, both in front of the camera and behind the scenes! We are currently searching for an experienced Anchor/Reporter to lead our weekend evening teams. Be part of a winning team with a diverse culture that believes in supporting, mentoring, and training our staff.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Must be a strong writer and storyteller with the ability to convey information to viewers in a conversational manner. Must be knowledgeable about current events and be able to collaborate with newsroom on editorial direction and presentation. Must be able to report on breaking news and other developing stories with little assistance from production crews. Must be able to handle high stress environment while staying calm on air and behind the scenes. Must be able to discuss current events unscripted during the course of a live broadcast. Must be willing to travel and present from the field as required. Other duties assigned as deemed appropriate and necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

High school diploma is required; 4-year College degree is preferred. Candidate should have 3 to 5 years' experience with fast-paced television productions. Excellent communication and leadership skills are required.
