Fox Television Stations is one of the nation's largest owned-and-operated network broadcast groups, comprising 29 stations in 18 markets and covering over 37% of US television homes. This includes seven duopolies in the top 10 markets: New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, San Francisco, Washington, DC and Houston; as well as duopolies in Minneapolis, Phoenix, Orlando and Seattle.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Candidate must have proven and consistent experience as an Anchor and Reporter. Responsibilities include oversight of newscasts, producing, writing and performing scripts, stories and interviews for broadcast and online. Candidate must enterprise news stories and segments, and be versatile as a writer, storyteller and broadcaster on the anchor desk, online and in the field. Candidate must have strong editorial knowledge and the ability to produce and perform that information on all platforms. Skilled at mining and posting to social media platforms.

Bachelor's Degree in Journalism or Communications required. At least ten (10) years television news experience in a medium to major market. Excellent communication skills, solid news judgment and strong writing and on-air performance skills required. Strong knowledge of legal and ethical parameters for broadcast and digital media is essential. Must have a thorough knowledge of current events and governmental, police, and other agency procedures. Strong research/data recovery skills. Must be capable of using news computer systems and be familiar with TV and digital production techniques. Must be capable of collaborating and working and performing well under deadline pressure.
