JOB DESCRIPTION

Fox Sports is seeking a Freelance Social Graphics Specialist to join our team in Los Angeles. This position is responsible for producing, discovering, and implementing various forms of interactive social media content across all screens. FOX Sports is looking for someone to have a sharp eye and keen sense of social media content to enhance the experience of FOX Sports programming across television and digital production. The Social Graphics Specialist must be self-sufficient and an excellent communicator, with the ability to pitch producers in many different settings and enhance all forms of production. Content can and will be discovered primarily from FOXSports.com, the FOX Sports App, and social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, Tik Tok, and Snapchat.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Execute flawless spelling and grammar with quick turnaround, track record of high-quality Photoshop-style design skills with quick turnaround, and proven Premiere/Final Cut-style video editing skills with quick turnaround
• Use Cutting Edge Data Software to help better tell stories across platforms and work with data tools (i.e., Tagboard, Spreadfast, Sharablee, CrowdTangle, and other platform analytics tools) to create content, develop audiences, and judge performance
• Build and maintain highly productive working relationships across a variety of groups, including sales, marketing, programming, digital, linear, studio, and other show teams
• Discover and identify social media content that can enhance show production across television studios and original digital platforms
• Work with production staff of all types to pitch and produce segments and/or hits that in turn make productions more interactive for fans, as well as third-party partners that streamline these processes
• Coordinate content – whether show, brand, talent, original video, etc., across each screen, whether TV, web, app, live stream, social, etc.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• 1+ years of high-level digital and social production experience with major media brands and/or major personalities
• Comprehensive knowledge of action and a substantial understanding of the tricks and respective terminology
• Proficiency in social, and digital video, and audio content production
• Ability to operate production-related equipment and understand production terminology and procedures
• Capacity to understand goals, speak their terminology, and create win-win relationships with key stakeholders
• Ability to communicate effectively with talent, athletes, team managers, event staff, outside producers, and all other persons involved with productions
• Must be knowledgeable on Mac and with video editing and design tools; motion graphics tools
• Basic understanding of Adobe Production Suite (Photoshop, Premiere), After Effects
• Interest in emerging production vehicles, such as digital artistry
• Utilize social listening and have a keen sense of show rundowns/direction
