JOB DESCRIPTION

FOX Sports is searching for a Senior Manager of Field Integration to join the team in Los Angeles. The role is responsible for leading the scheduling of remote kits, control rooms, and production anywhere workspaces in coordination with each sports Operation's Management Team. You will oversee remote event coordination, liaise with Field Technical & Operations Managers during events, and be accountable for the day of event crew management and operations support.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage remote event coordination between Remote Operations and the Sports Transmission Operations, Studio Operations, Sports PICO & FNCC Engineering, Sports Crewing, and Corp IT when utilizing a FOX Network Center or FOX Remote Systems resources
• Responsible for the day of event crew management and operations support at FOX PICO
• Liaise with Field Technical & Operations Managers during the event to support their needs in conjunction with the planned usage of remote kits, control rooms, and production anywhere workspaces
• Work with remote engineering and operations management to determine event needs, equipment assignments, and rental equipment necessary
• Manage employees supporting remote integration operations at FOX PICO and other FOX Network Centers where events are being integrated
• Budgeting of costs related to Field Integration Operations
• Manage operational documentation for Field Operations teams of their integrated events
• Request support engineering and technicians per event requirements
• Execute projects in a timely, open, and service-oriented manner

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• 5+ years of experience in Field Integration/Technical Operations for remote events
• Thorough understanding of what is necessary to successfully coordinate and support all technical operations of remote events – from planning to execution
• Proficient in spreadsheet, writing, and presentation programs like MS Office and Google Suite and online collaboration tools like Quip, Smartsheet, and Slack
• Ability to manage time-sensitive communications throughout large and regionally diverse groups at all hours
• Willingness to manage and work multiple complex broadcast events simultaneously in an ever-changing environment
• Multi-customer focus with an ability to decipher technical and operational goals quickly and to a diverse group of stakeholders
• Exceptional written, listening, and verbal communication skills
• Willingness and ability to work weekends and holidays when necessary
