JOB DESCRIPTION

FOX Sports is looking for a Senior Gambling Editor to join the Digital Team in Los Angeles, CA. As the Senior Gambling Editor, you will lead a team of editors and writers while collaborating with the research, social, video screening, and talent production teams to cover the entire sports gambling world with written content, video, quantitative and qualitative insights, and more. You will utilize analytics, research and other data to shape the editorial strategy for FOX Sports Gambling.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage FOX Sports Gambling's editorial calendar and content budget, planning for upcoming events, major milestones and content themes
• Display outstanding news judgment, skilled storytelling ability, expertise in sports gambling, thorough knowledge of digital best practices (including SEO, social platforms and content sharing), and a strong knowledge of journalistic principals and methods
• Manage editorial staff
• Manage analytics and reporting
• Content creation, ideation and editing

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• 6+ years of relevant work experience
• Basic arithmetic for reports/recap notes
• Adobe proficiency
• Deep knowledge of the AP style writing
