JOB DESCRIPTION

FOX Sports is looking for a (local or remote) Freelance Production Assistant to join our team based in Charlotte, NC. The Freelance Production Assistant p rovides production support and assistance to Directors and Creative Directors w ith a primary focus on logging and sourcing footage and music. You will be r esponsible for researching and cataloging relevant music, film, commercial, books , and design material applicable to projects they are assigned to , creating / maintaining database for easy retrieval of relevant research material , and assisting and/or supervising writing, producing, editorial, sound design, visual effects, and graphic design work being executed throughout the department.

• Sourcing Music
• Writing Scripts
• Assisting Producers & Creative Directors

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• Minimum 1 year experience in television film production or related field
• Good verbal, written communication, as well as good interpersonal skills .
• Rudimentary working knowledge of common media platforms
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple projects
• A bility to multitask and work effectively under changing prioritie s

NICE TO HAVE BUT NOT A DEALBREAKER
• College degree in Broadcast, Film, or Marketing
