JOB DESCRIPTION

Fox Corporation is looking for a Talent Acquisition Sourcer to support our recruiting efforts. In this role, you will partner directly with the recruiting team and business leadership to support sourcing initiatives. Your expertise will be used to build effective sourcing strategies for the current and future talent needs of our growing Fox News Media team. We are looking for someone with expertise in sourcing and recruiting for off-air talent, i.e. producers, editors, writers, etc.

We need out-of-the-box thinkers with new, fresh approaches to locating the best and the brightest prospects; someone with a proactive, creative approach to sourcing, and who has an extreme sense of urgency.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Act as a search expert by understanding functional hiring needs, position specifications, and search requirements
• Strong focus on sourcing passive candidates through networking, cold calling, complex internet searches and research
• Act as a true business partner, working closely with recruiters and hiring managers to ensure the quality hires against specific requisitions
• Help source and identify diverse candidate slates towards business goals
• Proactively build and maintain a large talent database, collecting information from a variety of sources including web search, professional associations, diversity organizations, phone research and networking
• Develop a comprehensive talent community and nurture proactive network of talent for immediate access/submission to open requisitions, or for proactive exploratory searches
• Proactively conduct research and investigate new ideas to execute innovate sourcing strategies
• Partner with recruiters to generate leads, leverage resources, and share information that facilitates an effective search process
• Provide valuable input into the local markets and help solve any top of funnel sourcing challenges.
• Find new talent communities where we should have a presence; post new job opportunities on internal and external career sites
• Provide follow-up correspondence to candidates on application status via phone and email
• Generate and/or prepare recruitment activity reports for client meetings
• Maintain accurate reporting within our internal tools and recruiting systems
• Coordinate written feedback from interviewers and create candidate summary documents for candidate debriefs

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• Candidate sourcing experience
• Candidate lead generation experience
• Experience with Boolean logic, or similar technically astute skills in the external recruiting industry
• Experience building talent communities and sourcing for DE&I initiatives
• Strong customer service focus and attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively with all staff levels
• Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail/accuracy and follow-up; you stay focused and no details fall through the cracks on your watch
• Developed passive recruiting skills, i. e.: cold calling, training in behavioral interviewing assessment, success building pipelines and employment branding.
• Ability to exercise discretion and work independently

• Bachelor's degree in related/relevant field
• Familiarity with Workday ATS
• AIRS training
