JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Social Media Producer, you will be a crucial member of our Fox News team, helping to produce content for our social media platforms. We are looking for a team player with a positive attitude and someone who is comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Your passion for news and social media savviness are bar none!

You will be offered one of the following shifts: Tues-Sat 10p-6a; Sun-Thurs 2p-10p; Tues-Sat 2p-10p ET

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Post and produce content for Fox News and Fox Business' social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn, as well as FB/IG stories, all in a fast-paced setting
• Stream live events while simultaneously cutting video segments from the channels
• Evaluate social media analytics and track social conversation around topics and shows
• Search for and pitch trending topics for social and digital
• Communicate with the Assignment Desk regarding permission for content
• Plan ahead for events and create exciting social media content to engage followers

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• 3+ years of experience in news, TV, or web
• Strong knowledge of news and current events, entertainment, and politics
• Strong editorial judgment
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent writing skills
• Ability to self-proof
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize
• Ability to work under pressure and post content in a breaking news environment
• Willingness to work flexible hours

NICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT A DEAL BREAKER
• Experience with live television production
• Experience with Photoshop
