JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for an experienced, driven and confident Senior Producer to join The Story w/ Martha MacCallum. The Senior Producer will have a clear vision for the show before the day begins, formulate a rundown, and execute a plan. You must have impeccable awareness of the day's editorial direction, be organized, and a strong, natural leader who can rally the team in high-pressure situations. You know how to identify strengths in just about anyone, and use those strengths to produce positive results. You have the patience to teach, but also know when to let go. You're comfortable interacting with high profile talent/guests and are prepared to represent the show during high-profile meetings and events, both within the company and in the field.

You will be offered the following shift: Weekdays from 7am to 4pm ET

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Set the editorial standard at the beginning of each day by building a show with original guests/topics/ideas
• Oversee bookers by offering suggestions and ensuring the right guests are secured
• Participate in daily team meetings to develop strategies for each segment
• Guide the production of segments throughout the day
• Write teases and copy edit scripts
• Take the lead in the control room while monitoring/reacting to breaking news
• Plan future shows/segments in anticipation of high-profile events
• Manage and develop Line Producers, Segment Producers, Writers, and Production Assistants

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• 2-4 years of Line Producing (or similar) experience
• Exceptional editorial skills with the ability to recognize stories with high potential for compelling television
• Strong interest/knowledge of current events and politics
• Passion for storytelling with a strong creative drive; willingness to take risks
• Proven track record of leadership and the ability to create an environment that fosters teamwork
• Willingness to listen, learn and grow from constructive criticism

NICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT A DEAL BREAKER
• A Bachelor's degree in Journalism (or related field)
• Understanding of the Fox News Media brand and strategies for ratings growth
