JOB DESCRIPTION
FoxNews.com & FoxBusiness.com are looking for an experienced Reporter to join our team and report and aggregate stories from a wide range of sources and cover breaking news.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Conceptualize and execute original reporting, including long - term projects when possible and conduct interviews (mostly by phone or email)
• Report on breaking news even ts that occur and write quickly and precisely to help solidify Fox News as the go - to site for developing stories
• Scour national and international media for stories that resonate with FoxNews.com's audience and aggregate with complete and proper attribution
• Maintain proper style and Fox News 'voice'
• Present all stories, original, breaking and aggregated, in an accessible, consistent, and compelling style
• Work closely and collaboratively with editors and fellow reporters, including frequent coloration on stories
• Fill in as needed to program the home page

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• At least 3 years of experience covering the news and newsroom experience
• Knowledge of AP style is vital with a clear and crisp writing style
• A firm grasp of current events and a desire to be precise, quick, and accurate in presenting the news to the vast FoxNews.com & FoxBusiness.com audience
• Ability to work on deadline and under pressure in a fast - paced newsroom environment
• Hours must be flexible and will include working on some holidays
• Possess an "on - call'' mentality and be prepared to work under emergency or breaking news conditions

NICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT A DEAL BREAKER
• A Bac helor's degree or equivalent experience
