JOB DESCRIPTION

The 'New' Fox Corporation Information Security team drives security initiatives across all of Fox's US based businesses, including Fox Broadcasting Corporation, Fox Sports (FS1 & FS2), Fox Business and Fox News. Fox is one of the nations largest broadcast groups and premier sports brands, and our newly formed Fox Corporation is heavily focused on producing high-quality live events and high volume direct to consumer digital distribution.

So, are you ready to join a more agile company ready to rapidly innovate and build new products? We're searching for a Security Engineer to be part of our InfoSec maturity growth. This role will be focused on enterprise security tools such as crowdstrike, sumo logic, threat landscape as it applies to FOX environments and collaborating with teams across the company to apply appropriate remediation and protection technologies. A core focus for this role will be providing Information Security insight to patch coordination and rollout processes, driving collaboration and creating visibility and reporting. We are interested in someone who is willing to challenge the status quo.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Work closely with Engineering teams on design reviews for new features or major changes within Okta and other collaboration platforms
• Audit environments for security flaws and best practices
• Ensure security features and functionality are being fully utilized
• Develop, implement, and communicate vulnerability mitigation strategies to engineering team
• Think like an attacker and solve complex problems with ingenuity and expertise
• Assisting with migration to an AD-less future
• Continuous drive towards least privilege access models
• Proactively create reports and other documentation related to collaboration tools configuration

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• Knowledge of modern web application components, architecture, and design principles
• Knowledge in current authentication and authorization protocols (OAuth, SAML)
• Ability to read application logs and assist in incident triage & response
• Passionate about technology and Information Security
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Great collaborator able to bring together diverse view points and drive progress in technical projects
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to communicate highly technical details succinctly
• Have a knack for simplifying processes and low friction security
• Self-directing and focused on delivering results
• Able to work in high-pressure environments, supporting critical on-air broadcast systems

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $136,000.00-171,000.00 annually for California, Washington, New York City and Westchester County, NY. $113,300.00-142,500.00 annually for Colorado. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
