JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a proactive and organized individual to provide administrative support to the Executive Vice President (EVP)
of Primetime programming. We will rely on you to be a team player who can work independently, exercise sound judgment, and take initiative. Sensitivity to confidential matters is critical to this role.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide administrative support to the EVP of Primetime Programming by managing a complex schedule and serving as the primary point of contact for meeting requests.
• Act as a liaison between Executive Producers and the EVP of Primetime Programming to gather information on show content and other relevant show details.
• Create weekly host schedules and keep a detailed tracking list of host fill-ins & host locations.
• Develop and distribute programming schedules for weekdays and weekends with a focus on special coverage events and holidays.
• Maintain confidential information.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• A strong interest in News
• 2+ years of administrative experience
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office products – including but not limited to Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Overall professionalism including a business-like attitude, attire, cheerful disposition, and strong work ethic
• Ability to handle confidential information and interact with high-level executives
