JOB DESCRIPTION

We seek a highly organized, proactive, and tactful individual with superb prioritization skills and judgment to provide administrative support to the Executive Vice President (EVP) & Editor-in-Chief (EIC), Fox News/Fox Business Digital. We will rely on you to be a team player who can be an integral part of a high-performing organization in an extremely dynamic environment. The ability to work independently, sound judgment, sensitivity to confidential matters, and time management skills are critical to success in this role.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide administrative support to the EVP/EIC in all priorities, tasks, and projects
• Serve as the primary point of contact for meeting requests, proactively manage an extremely active calendar of appointments, and anticipate scheduling issues
• Prioritize conflicting needs to handle matters expeditiously and proactively
• Serve as a liaison between the EVP/EIC, the Digital leadership team, internal team members, and outside parties; work closely with the Digital Operations team
• Manage all aspects of complex and dynamic business travel itineraries, travel agendas, and accommodations
• Process expense reports
• Plan and organize a wide variety of meetings, from in-person to video and teleconferences
• Ensure the EVP/EIC is on schedule and on time
• Prepare meeting notes, compose confidential correspondence, draft PowerPoint presentations and Excel files
• Research, prioritize, and follow up on incoming issues and tasks
• Follow-through on projects to successful completion
• Screen incoming calls
• Build and maintain electronic filing systems to organize large amounts of data, and maintain confidential information
• Occasional travel if needed
• Complete special projects as assigned

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• Minimum of ten years of administrative assistant experience supporting senior leaders
• Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment and thrive under pressure in a fast-paced newsroom environment
• Possess a positive, proactive, and ''on-call'' mentality, and be prepared to work under emergency or breaking news conditions
• Organization skills that allow multiple tasks to be handled simultaneously, with excellent attention to detail
• A positive and collaborative attitude, including the ability to work closely with senior members of the Editorial leadership team
• Strong interpersonal skills, and direct and clear communication
• Ability to quickly and independently problem solve and communicate early
• Superb attention to detail, with the ability to see the bigger picture and prioritize across multiple workstreams
• Superior time management skills with the ability to prioritize large workloads
• Ability to take direction with ease
• Advanced MS Office skills, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, and ability to use online tools
• Consistent professionalism, including a business-like attitude, positive disposition, and strong work ethic
• Ability to handle confidential information, and interact with high-level executives (with different leadership styles) and their teams
