JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a Director of Product Operations to join the FOX Weather team!

FOX Weather will provide critical information through cutting-edge products, a go-to for audiences who seek trusted weather news and voices. A cross-divisional initiative built upon FOX's expansive resources and trusted meteorologists, FOX Weather will provide audiences with engaging, enriched, customized weather content and information on all platforms.

As the Director of Product Operations, you will play a key role for operational success at the intersection of our digital content and programming teams. You will work closely with product initiatives with a focus on developing organizational efficiencies between teams. You will help to build foundational workflows and processes, monitoring their success and driving their evolution and growth.

This position reports to the Fox Weather SVP of Digital Products and Strategy.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage program/project timelines required for FOX Weather launch planning
• Lead efforts to automate, scale, and drive operational excellence throughout FOX Weather by setting up strong processes and systems
• Oversee communication and implementation of best practices, methodologies, and tools across content teams
• Monitor changes in the industry and continually recommend improved strategies and new products for FOX Weather best practices
• Build the operational onboarding plan for new team members, specifically supporting their use of content tools, features, and workflows
• Establish a culture of best practices, tools, templates, and forums to set up, monitor, track and execute various programs and initiatives
• Set up and manage automated systems to instrument, gather, analyze data and intelligence about the adoption, usage, feedback, and engagement of our products to continuously improve their performance and drive investments
• Perform regular analyses across the organization, create recommendations for strategies to support increased efficiency and quality of the product
• Support strategic product planning and efforts across all teams
• Collect and manage feedback through different channels with a focus on ultimately driving change to make the business more successful

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• 5+ years in a program management, product management or digital advertising role
• Passion for weather is a must!
• Detailed understanding of cross-functional working teams
• Outstanding analytical, and problem-solving abilities, along with an ability to collaborate cross-functionally
• Great written and spoken communication skills; ability to speak to both business and technical audiences
• Ability to adapt quickly and thrive in fast-moving, fast-changing environments
• Ability to synthesize research, insights, feedback, and data into actionable plans
• Able to evaluate new product opportunities from an audience, editorial, and technology perspective
• Ability to think quickly, using problem-solving skills to get projects across the finish line
