JOB DESCRIPTION

Making Money with Charles Payne is looking for a talented, organized, and motivated Associate Producer with strong editorial judgment and a firm grasp of today's financial news. As an Associate Producer, you will write scripts, produce segments, create graphics, and write banners under intense deadline pressure for a live hour-long broadcast.

You will need stellar communication skills and a desire to grow within the company.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Produce multiple segments that are element and banner intensive
• Write dynamic scripts
• Pitch and execute creative and innovative ideas for segments and guests
• Work closely with Line Producers, Bookers, and Production Assistants
• Participate in editorial planning and direction of the show

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• Bachelor's degree in journalism or related field of study is preferred, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of professional experience in a live television control room
• Thorough knowledge of the stock market, investing trends, and business news
• Strong editorial judgment
• Ability to create compelling graphics for air
• Fast and accurate writing
• Ability to work under intense deadline pressure

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $59,500.00-74,500.00 annually for New York City and Westchester County, NY. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
