FOX Weather is a 24/7 ad-supported streaming service operated by FOX News Media. Launching in October 2021, the platform builds upon FOX News Channel's expansive newsgathering units & FOX Television Stations' added resources with a combined 120 meteorologists for a comprehensive suite of weather products featuring local, regional and national reporting, in addition to live programming. Utilizing multiple radar systems, including an immersive mobile 3D radar, and more than 100,000 HD cameras located around the country, the service offers users an innovative approach to forecasting, including coverage surrounding all weather patterns, from immediate to long-term. FOX Weather is available via foxweather.com, the FOX Weather app on IOS and Android devices, as well as Tubi, Apple TV, Amazon, and Roku, through FOX's Connected TV Apps.

FOX Weather is a weather service that will provide critical information through cutting-edge products, a go-to for audiences who seek trusted weather news and voices. A cross-divisional initiative built upon FOX's expansive resources and trusted meteorologists, FOX Weather will provide audiences with engaging, enriched, customized weather content and information on all platforms, and we are looking for an Affiliate Coordinator to join the FOX Weather team!

As the Affiliate Coordinator, you are responsible for facilitating key needs of FOX Weather and Fox Television Stations. As with all team members, the ideal candidate will also closely collaborate across all FOX News Media platforms.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• News gather and communicate with FOX Television stations during all weather events
• Arrange live video and reporter live shots/phoners
• Book live shots / FNC studios in various locations, transmission and support field crews covering national weather stories
• Book studios & transmission (and troubleshoot) for FTS weather-related FOX Weather guests
• Coordinate and facilitate access to FW resources such as correspondents, guests, live feeds, content feeds, video, editorial for FOX owned station platforms
• Work alongside affiliate team members, assignment editors, reporters, producers, and managers to complete assignments on tight deadlines
• Your thorough understanding of weather operations, newsgathering & content will help you facilitate the offer of specific FOX Weather resources that could be available and of interest to stations
• Help build and/or strengthen relationships with local news partners and maintain a strong working knowledge of individual station resources and needs

• Excellent communication and presentation skills for interaction with colleagues, external vendors, and partners
