JOB DESCRIPTION

Mar Vista Entertainment is an entertainment studio with a mission to produce, acquire, and distribute premium film and television programming worldwide. Reporting to both the Head of Production and the Vice President, Physical Production, the Junior Coordinator will work with the department in all aspects of physical production and post-production across our broad spectrum of original productions and acquisitions.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Organize calendars and phone sheets for the physical production department
• Coordinate internal and external calls and meetings
• Assist with updating production slate calendars and schedules
• Prepare expense reports
• Prepare internal requests for network breakages, writer deals, producer deals , and other
• Help the team with pitch documents, budget prep, memos relating to project setup
• Help research regional incentives globally and look for external partners
• Create Excel spreadsheets to track production data as needed
• Manage physical production team subscriptions including Zoom accounts
• Keep our online organizational systems updated
• Provide other administrative support as needed

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• At least 1 year of administrative experience in a studio environment
• Experience supporting multiple people
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) and Outlook
• Familiarity with Zoom
• Great attitude
• Desire to learn and grow within the Physical Production department.
• Initiative and self-direction
• Willingness to take on additional responsibility and growth as the company expands
• Strong creative problem-solving skills, above-average ability to multi-task and remain calm under pressure
• Professionalism, discretion, and good judgment in all interactions with co-workers and industry professionals
