JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a highly motivated, proactive and creative Senior Booker to join the newest hit show ''Kudlow'' on Fox Business! As the Senior Booker, you understand the importance of getting the exclusive. You must have the know-how to book guests who can speak about the intersection of business, policy and politics. You will be tasked with landing interviews with newsmakers in reaction to daily breaking news as well as booking and managing a who's who of key guests for the days, weeks, and months beyond. You are a leader who is an expert in creating and cultivating relationships both with the guests and the show team, and are someone who is passionate about prosperity and loves the idea of being part of a launch team.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Book dynamic and high-profile guests our viewers can relate to
• Execute both daily bookings under tight deadlines while juggling long-term bookings
• Identify and develop new guests for the show
• Pitch stories and guests appropriate for the show and host
• Maintain relationships with the current roster of guests while developing new faces for the program
• Conduct thorough pre-interviews with guests to make sure they meet the editorial standards of Fox Business
• Respond quickly to breaking news during and after regular hours
• Coordinate with Media Affairs and Promos units to generate publicity before and after high-profile interviews
• Work with Assignment Desk, Bureaus, and Satellite Ops to lock down studios for guests
• Work exceptionally well within a collaborative team environment

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• 5 years of television booking experience
• Strong and proven leadership success
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to think fast and react to breaking news
• Creative thinking and a passion for business and current events
• Availability during off-hours or weekends, as needed for breaking news or other changes to the show lineup
• Social media savviness

NICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT A DEALBREAKER
• A Bachelor's Degree and or relevant work experience
